Two like minded friends met doing what they love and turned their passion and talent into a career.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to pass on our knowledge and love for fitness and nutrition in a fun exciting way to OPTIMIZE the health, nutrition, and mindset of our members. We strive to provide the best experience possible and create a one-of-a-kind community, full of support and guidance. We are committed to keeping the gym a safe and happy place where ALL are welcome!

MEET THE COACHES

Katie Brown

Co-Owner/Coach

Katie started her journey into fitness and health over 10 years ago when she walked into her local gym to try group exercise classes, and the rest is history. She struggled with mental health for many years and felt this lifestyle finally gave her purpose.

Along with training, she started to learn more about the importance of proper nutrition to support an active lifestyle. She went from trying to become skinny to wanting to become strong. She then dove heavily into tracking macros with a flexible dieting approach. This lead to her becoming PNL1 certified.

In 2015, she began her Crossfit journey, and immediately knew that she had found her passion. She didn’t grow up an athlete, but she had always been competitive with everything she did, so it couldn’t have been more perfect. She proceeded to become a CFL1 trainer in 2017 and since then has become a CFL2 trainer to continue to grow and become the best coach she can be.

Wanda Skofield

Co-Owner/Coach

Wanda has always had a love and appreciation for sports and competition. She has been able to use a great deal of knowledge she’s gained from her long history in sports, along with the injuries she’s had to recover from to really give her clients and athletes the best experience possible.

She also struggled with that stubborn post pregnancy weight (a whopping 70 lbs!), battled low self-esteem, loss of identity, and depression. From running, to at home programs, to Zumba, nothing seemed to get all the weight off and keep it off, until she found Crossfit in 2020 when COVID hit. She was welcomed into an amazing community full of support, guidance, and accountability.

This is where she learned how much more powerful exercise can be when coupled with nutrition and mindset. That last piece is what she had been missing and why "nothing" seemed to work. She learned, you can't out work-out a poor diet, and you can't stay consistent without a healthy mindset! It didn't take long for her goals to change from "looking good" to "how much more can I get on that barbell".

These key things are what turned her life around! It's been a great opportunity to be a role model for her kids and teach them the importance of fitness and the proper way to fuel your body. From athlete to now turned coach, she got her CFL1 trainer and continues to expand her knowledge and keep growing as a coach and mentor.
